Born & raised in Dallas, TX, Emma’s love for performing started in middle school at Dallas Young Artists musical theater camp, where she began to hone her professional skills under the mentorship of some of the city’s best regional theater professionals. She then went on to obtain her BFA in Musical Theater at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA, where she had the pleasure of participating in the Polyphone Theatre Festival and collaborating with a wide variety of emerging artists on the development of new plays & musicals. After graduating in 2019, Emma packed up and moved to NYC, where she currently resides in Manhattan!

Over the years, Emma has worked on all kinds of projects, from developmental readings to classical plays to background work on network TV shows. She most recently appeared in an episode of Investigation Discovery’s Mean Girl Murders (now streaming) and also starred in an indie short film, Pauline+Mary (currently in post-production)!

As a queer, mixed-ethnicity AAPI woman, Emma deeply values representation and the power of storytelling as a force for change. As her career continues to grow, she aims to center authenticity and creativity in her work with the hope that her work can not just engage audiences, but foster community and connection as well!
